HONOR TROUPE

BECOME AN HONOR TROUPE

The Honor Troupe distinction recognizes troupes with tremendous achievements both within their school and their community and who maintain a high level of excellence, both on and off stage. There is no limit to the number of troupes that can apply each year.

The application process includes completing the application below and submitting a portfolio highlighting your troupe's positive impact within their school and local communities.

In addition, all Troupes must meet the following Maryland State Thespian Standards. 

Official Thespian Inductions
Clear Thespian Point System
Conduct Regular Meetings with Attendance
Payment of your EdTA Renewal Dues
Attendance at the Maryland State Thespian Festival

Please upload any pictures or combined PDF’s which highlight your troupe’s achievements / activity. (10 files max, 100MB size limit) Award winners will be notified at the Maryland State Thespian Festival with a certificate and a letter addressed to the school's principal celebrating this monumental achievement. Award winners will also be entitled to use a promotional graphic to display their status their website, social media etc.

Honor Troupe applications should highlight work and achievements made in the last completed academic school year.
