Hello All, If you weren’t able to attend the pre-registration meetings please reach out and we do have a recording you can view to unlock your registration account. We are still working on some parts of the “Colorado” registration system (Troupe Events, Awards etc.) Thank you for your patience. However, the OpenWater applications for Thespys should be ready to go: https://edta.secure-platform.com/a/organizations/maryland/home ~Please note that the dropown menu of the Approved Material List, which was integrated with the OpenWater Performance Thespy applications last year, is gone. Apparently, that implementation was too much for EdTA this year. Instead, there is a new question (picture below) which confirms you have checked the elegibility of the title and understand that your student will be disqualified if you made a mistake. While Maryland does not have the staff to confirm all submission are eligible, EdTA does check this closely for qualifying entries. It is hypothetically possible for a student to qualify at the state level and then be disqualified from performing at ITF if a discrepancy is discovered. It is the Troupe Director’s responsibility to confirm their students’ selected pieces against the list to prevent unexpected DQ’s. Also, we were told that “Directing” Thespys would be officially launched this year, but EdTA has told us that they are actually planning on launching that for 2027-2028.
