It’s been a couple weeks since the Festival and we at Maryland Thespians are busy debriefing and starting to plan for next year! We wanted to wrap up a few loose ends and - most importantly - invite you to be a part of the Maryland Thespians journey by sharing your experiences and maybe even joining the board to help plan for the future!

Our online Thespian Store is up and running! Please check it out and also send the link out to your students.

  The store operates on a quarterly schedule to keep the prices down. Items ship at the end of each quarter.  The Thespian Store is currently accepting order through Feb 29th and items will ship about 2 weeks after that.

Troupe Director Survey

Please fill out this survey when you can to let us know your thoughts on possible changes for next year’s Festival and to let us know what worked or was challenging for you this year.

We will send out Thespian Store coupons to anyone who completes the survey by February 14th!

Virtual Board Meeting - All Are Invited!

Thursday, February 29, at 7pm, we will be holding a virtual meeting for all Troupe Directors who would like to meet the board and share their experiences from Festival. We also welcome any ineterest in joining the board and helping plan for next year!

Areas Where We Could Use More Help / Leadership

• Coordinating with Colleges / Scholarships

• Coordinating Thespys

• Organizing and Communicating with Volunteers

• Coordinating / Growing the JUNIOR Thespian Festival

• Financial Records Keeping (Experience with QuickBooks is helpful, but not required.)

Did Someone say Festival 2025?!

The School of Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies at the University of Maryland was an amazing host for our second year at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

While there are many details yet to be worked out, we have already “penciled-in” a tentative return date of January 17-18, 2025. We will keep you all posted!
