Each year the Maryland State Thespian Festival hosts colleges and universities from across the state, offering our delegation of over 700 festival attendees access to some of the best collegiate theatre schools and programs available. Colleges and universities in turn gain access, through adjudication and audition opportunities, and a college/university fair, to some of the finest young talent in the state. It's one of the best offerings at Festival for our students and guests alike, and a rare opportunity to recruit the talent of tomorrow. Join us and experience the benefits of highlighting your theatre school and/or program to the next generation of theatre artists. It's an experience unlike any other and a rare opportunity to help inspire a specific demographic of theatre students state-wide. Join us and experience the benefits of highlighting your program to the next generation of theatre leaders.

We're looking for representation from the best and most existing theatre programs from across the region to join us for the two day long Maryland State Thespian Festival. You'll gain access to future applicants/theatre students by serving as an adjudicator for the Maryland State Thespian Theatre Excellence Awards and One Act Festival, Senior Scholarships, and College Auditions. Representatives from colleges and universities are also offered the opportunity to rent table space at our College Fair (rental charges apply).

Colleges and universities and their representatives who are willing to represent their institution in multiple capacities at The Maryland State Thespian Festival.

In addition to an experience unlike any other and the ability to share in the joy and excitement of some of the most talented students in Maryland, Maryland Thespians is honored to provide a hospitality room for all college/university representatives. Lunch will also be provided for each day in attendance. Furthermore, stipends are offered as follows:

College/University Representative: $300.00
Please note, stipends are offered to college/university representatives who are assigned adjudication responsibilities. Each college/university representative will be assigned adjudication responsibilities as festival registration demands. Those only participating in the College Fair are not eligible for compensation.

Tables are available on a first come, first serve basis and are displayed prominently during the Maryland State Thespian Festival College Fair. Premium space is limited and early application is encouraged.

Table Size: 3 feet by 6 feet
Cost: $100.00 for the first table requested. Additional tables are available as requested for $50.00 each. Please note that outside tables are not permitted.

All adults must submit the necessary information required to complete a background check before being considered for selection. You may submit your background check here.

For maximum effectiveness and impact, colleges and university representatives should plan to be available for as much of the festival as possible. Optimum and preferred availability is below.
